Who we are

Alberta Occupational Safety Auditors Association (AOSAA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit Association in September 2005. The Association became a Partner in the Partnerships in Injury Reduction program in May 2006.

The Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, drawn from and elected by the membership. The Board is composed of four Executive Officers – Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. The immediate Past Chair also maintains a seat on the Board, acting in an advisory capacity.

The Board is responsible for the overall direction and operation of the Association on a provincial level, and establishes and implements policies and procedures to advance the objectives of the Association. It also ensures the efficient and effective use of the Association’s resources.
