Safety First!

It’s been a very exciting time at AOSAA with tons of changes and lot’s on the go. If you are reading this by you now you
have realized our new website is not up yet. We are still working on the construction phase and finalizing the format and main body of the site.

Our new blog on the site has been designed to keep our  membership in the know to what is happening with current events, training opportunities, along with auditor updates. Our website will provide an opportunity to link our members to introduce you to future clients who will come to this website to access a consultant, safety professional, or peer auditor. We will also post links to all of the Certifying Partners here in Alberta. In the future, our hope is to vet consultants and provide links to them if you are in need of an auditor.

Hello Auditors, Consultants, and Safety Professionals

As our new Chairman, I made a conscious decision with our executive board to take AOSAA out of the box. We are headed
in a new direction. We want to utilize the talent our executive board brings to the table with the wealth of experience,
knowledge and expertise as safety professionals, certifying partners, trainers and educators.

We are poised to listen to what our members need and want going forward in 2019 and beyond. We want to hear from you so don’t be shy and attend our upcoming workshop.

In the news!

Our annual workshop and AGM is on the 21st of June at the Manufacturers Health and Safety Association in Red Deer. We have an exciting line up. The highlight of our workshop will be Assistant Deputy Minister Jody Young speaking on what is coming down the pipe in 2019/2020 and what it will mean for us auditors in the future. You don’t want to miss this presentation!

More than you expect!

In other news, we secured a spot in Calgary to host a CHSMSA course for auditors who wish to audit ISO 45001 and 16001.

So there you have it, things are finally coming together!
